Further to the completion of the 2023 Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies, the seat was abolished. Subject to major boundary changes - including the loss of the wards of Clapham Town, Ferndale and Larkhall to the new constituency of Clapham and Brixton Hill, partly offset by the addition of the Borough of Southwark wards of Camberwell Green and Newington - it will be reformed as Vauxhall and Camberwell Green, to be first contested at the 2024 general election.[2]
