As a resident of a large slum-ridden city of the United States, Superslum observed the manner in which otherwise unemployed residents of the city traveled from one slum to other slums in their (sometimes illegal) activities. Superslum is a User name which describes the way in which the various slums of the city are easily accessed by the use of automobiles, resulting in an enlarged, connected slum which is utilized by many of the slum-dwellers who reside in separate neighborhoods of the city.
A "super-slum" is made of the enlarged slums of different cities which are connected by superhighways. Accessibility by otherwise unemployed people through the use of automobiles generates an enormous "super-slum." Detroit, Chicago, Cleveland, Erie, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Newark, New York City, Boston, and Washington, D. C. and numerous other cities and towns in the region are all cities within the same "super-slum," (according to User Superslum).

- The smoking of tobacco and hemp is indulged in by unemployed individuals who populate "super-slums." Lately, mobile phones have empowered groups of individuals who use them to communicate whatever sights they may be viewing, and to co-ordinate their activities based on such information.
