Sanjay Tandon (born 10 September 1963[1]) is an Indian politician in the Bhartiya Janata Party.[2] He is known for being the son of Balramji Das Tandon. This is for the first time that he is contesting an election. He is the BJP candidate for the 2024 Indian general election in Chandigarh.

His father was a BJP leader of Punjab, who served as a Municipal Councilor in Punjab for 14 years and won 6 assembly elections in Punjab. He has written his father's biography titled "Balramji Dass Tandon: Ek Prerak Charitra".[3] He got it signed by L. K. Advani. His father-in-law was Justice Madan Mohan Punchhi[4] who retired as Chief Justice of India in 1998. He has also written a inspirational story book series called "Sunrays" and got it signed by many major BJP leaders, once by Narendra Modi.
