Rachel Brosnahan (born July 12, 1990) is an American actress. She is best known for playing the title role of an aspiring stand-up comedian in the Amazon Prime Video period comedy series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2017–2023), for which she won a Primetime Emmy Award in 2018 and two consecutive Golden Globe Awards in 2018 and 2019.[3][4][5] She has also appeared in the political thriller series House of Cards (2013–2015) and the drama series Manhattan (2014–2015).
