Prokhorovka (Russian: Про́хоровка, IPA: [ˈproxərəfkə]) is an urban locality (a settlement) and the administrative center of Prokhorovsky District of Belgorod Oblast, Russia, along the Psyol River southeast of the city of Kursk. Population: 9,790 (2021 Census);[1] 9,761 (2010 Russian census);[2] 10,007 (2002 Census);[3] 8,093 (1989 Soviet census).[4]
