Pierre Sané

Pierre Sané (born 1949) is the founder and president of the Imagine Africa Institute.[1] He was UNESCO’s Assistant Director-General for Social and Human Sciences from May 2001 to June 2010. He was Secretary General of Amnesty International from October 1992 to April 2001. Sané is one of ten of the Progressive International's global cabinet.[2]
