Padmavati (wife of Ashoka)

Padmavati was an empress and third wife of the third Mauryan Emperor, Ashoka[1] (r. c. 268 – c. 232 BC– ) and the mother of his second son, the Crown Prince Kunala. She was also the grandmother of Emperor Samprati.[2]
