Mehmandust (Persian: مهماندوست)[lower-alpha 1] is a village in, and the capital of, Damankuh Rural District of the Central District of Damghan County, Semnan province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 937 in 264 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 744 people in 225 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,118 people in 364 households; it was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
