Sayyid Hassan Aghaee Firouzabadi (Persian: حسن فيروزآبادی; 3 February 1951 – 3 September 2021) was an Iranian military officer. He served as the Chief-of-Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces—the most senior military authority in Iran—from 1989 to 2016.[4] After that, he was appointed a senior military advisor to the Supreme Leader of Iran[5] and a member of the Expediency Discernment Council.[6]
