2024 Dallas Cowboys season
65th season in franchise history / From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The 2024 Season will be the Dallas Cowboys' upcoming 65th season in the National Football League and their fifth under head coach Mike McCarthy. This will be the first season since 2020 that Dan Quinn will not be their defensive coordinator, as the Washington Commanders hired him to be their head coach. He was replaced in that role by former Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer, who returned to the Cowboys after eighteen years. The Cowboys will be attempting to improve upon their 12–5 record from the past three seasons, make the playoffs for the fourth straight year, and win the NFC East in back to back years, something the Cowboys have not done since 1993, and no NFC East team has done since the Eagles in 2004.
