Diving bird

馬阿奎鳥屬（學名：Maaqwi，在沿海薩利希語（英语：Coast Salish languages）中意為「水鳥」）是已滅絕的大型潛水鳥（英语：diving bird），可能重達1.5公斤，屬於维加鸟科，生存於晚白堊世坎帕期。化石發現於加拿大不列颠哥伦比亚省西南隅的霍恩比島（英语：Hornby Island）。

等特徵，研究人員分析其解剖特徵，認為甘肅鳥比較接近黃昏鳥、潛鴨科（英语：Gaviidae）、鷿鷈科等在水中以腳為動力前進的潛水鳥類（英语：Diving bird）。2011年，又有九件甘肅鳥的化石樣本被發表，研究人員分析其胸骨與趾骨後，認為甘肅鳥是一種會飛的潛水鳥，習性類似現生的鴨科物種。
