共和制（英語：Republic，拉丁語：res publica），是一種國體。共和制與神權及君主制政權的正當性、取得方式和政體形式不同，該政體下國家的最高執政者依据法律選出，而非君主世袭，施行共和制的国家或地區通常称作「共和国」，有些東方共和國或地區亦稱「民國」，如「中華民國」、「大韓民國」等名稱。

濱崎步前次發行的混音專輯為2005年的《MY STORY Classical》，約間隔三年再度發行。以《ayu-mi-x》系列而言，約間隔四年未發行。 本兩作中選出20曲目相關混音版，另外收錄於avex旗下獨立廠牌Rhythm Republic於2008年4月9日限定發行的彩膠唱盤，共10張。
