馬特·史密斯

马修·勞勃·“麥”·史密斯（Matthew Robert Smith，1982年10月28日—）^[1]是一位英格蘭舞台和電視演員。他最知名從2010年在英國長壽科幻劇《神秘博士》中演出的第十一任博士^[2]，以及於Netflix劇集《王冠》中飾演年輕時期的愛丁堡公爵菲利普親王。

馬特·史密斯最初想成為一名職業足球隊員，但一次背部受傷讓他不能成為運動員。加入國家青年劇院和在東英吉利亞大學學習戲劇和創新寫作之後，2003年他成為演員，在倫敦各劇院表演像Murder in the Cathedral, Fresh Kills, The History Boys 和On the Shore of the Wide World的演出。發展他的劇目到西區劇院，他開始與克利斯汀·史萊特表演《與鯊魚游泳》的舞台劇改編，^[3] 一年後，在That Face備受好評地表演了Henry。^[4]

2014年9月18日，馬特·史密斯宣佈加盟影片《傲慢與偏見與殭屍》將於9月24日正式開拍。
