華蓋是中国古代星官名，属三垣之中的紫微垣，共七星，形似傘狀，象征為帝王或貴官所用的傘形遮蔽物[1]，西方天文學中則屬仙后座。在紫微斗數中，華蓋星代表孤傲、孤寂、超然的命象，適合僧道中人。
