國立中山大學陳利銘於國際期刊Journal of School Health發表的文章,以1816位國小高年級學生為對象,結果顯示高年級學生的受凌頻率與知覺嚴重性的關聯不大(r = .02), 顯示愈常發生的欺凌行為不見得就會比較嚴重。被高年級學生認為最嚴重也最常發生的欺凌行為是:拳打腳踢、罵髒話、排擠、被威脅、推擠/跘倒、破壞友誼、當眾說壞話。[33]
