扇冠大天鵝龍屬（屬名：Olorotitan，意為「天鵝泰坦」，又譯大天鵝龍）是賴氏龍亞科的鴨嘴龍科恐龍，化石發現於俄羅斯遠東地區阿穆爾州昆杜爾（英语：Kundur, Russia）地區附近的烏都赤坎層（英语：Udurchukan Formation），年代為晚白堊世馬斯垂克階中晚期，成為最後倖存至白堊紀﹣古近紀滅絕事件的恐龍之一。模式種兼唯一種阿爾哈拉扇冠大天鵝龍（Olorotitan arharensis）於2003年由帕斯卡·古德弗伊（英语：Pascal Godefroit）等人所敘述、命名。正模標本是一具接近完整的骨骸，除了是俄羅斯首次發現完整的恐龍化石，亦是北美洲以外發現過最完整的賴氏龍亞科。

模式種阿爾哈拉扇冠大天鵝龍（Olorotitan arharensis）於2003年由帕斯卡·古德弗伊（英语：Pascal Godefroit）等人所敘述、命名。屬名以拉丁語的olor（天鵝）加上泰坦，意即「巨大的天鵝」，象徵牠特別加長、多達18節頸椎的頸部。種名意指發現地來自阿爾拉哈縣（Arhara）^[1]。中文名稱則由中國古生物學家邢立達提出，以「扇冠」強調其特殊的頭冠形式。^[2]

正模標本AEHM 2/845是一副接近完整的骨骸，除了是俄羅斯第一次發現完整的恐龍化石，也是北美洲以外發現過完整度最高的賴氏龍亞科。1990年，俄羅斯布拉戈維申斯克遠東礦產研究所的Vladimir A. Nagornyi，在遠東地區阿穆爾州的昆杜爾（英语：Kundur, Russia）村莊附近的赤塔-哈巴羅夫斯克（Chita−Khabarovsk）高速公路沿線採集化石時，發現了這個挖掘地點。他立即通知布拉戈維申斯克地質探勘研究所。1999年起，在面積至少1000平方公尺的骨層展開挖掘活動，至2001年正模標本從岩石中完全挖出。^[1]

當地屬於烏都赤坎層（英语：Udurchukan Formation）的一部分，年代約可追溯至白堊紀末期馬斯垂克階。根據孢粉學證據顯示其詳細年代可能與美國的地獄溪層、蘭斯層（英语：Lance Formation）相仿，接近白堊紀﹣古近紀滅絕事件。^{[3][4][5][6][7]}該地動物相與相隔一條黑龍江對岸、中國黑龍江省嘉蔭縣烏拉嘎鎮的漁亮子組連成一片^[8][9][10]，為一個橫跨數百平方公尺的骨層，並盛產鴨嘴龍科，^[11]包含阿穆爾龍^[12]、卡戎龍^[13]、克貝洛斯龍^[14]、昆杜爾龍^[15]、黑龍江龍、滿洲龍等；此外還有大量零碎、較小的單獨骨骼，可能屬於以上物種或扇冠大天鵝龍。^[16]

扇冠大天鵝龍是相對大型的賴氏龍亞科，2010年葛瑞格利·保羅（英语：Gregory S. Paul）估計身長8公尺及體重3.1噸；^[17]2012年湯瑪斯·霍茨（英语：Thomas R. Holtz Jr.）提出較高的估計值為身長12公尺。^[18]

其最大的特徵在於頭骨上巨大的斧狀中空頭冠，形狀與其他北美賴氏龍亞科截然不同。^[1]

頭骨由非常長的頸部支撐，頸椎多達18節，超出原本鴨嘴龍科平均值15節。薦骨有15或16節薦椎，比其他鴨嘴龍科多出至少3節。沿脊柱至尾部近端三分之一處的各條神經棘尖端之間有關節相互連接，使得尾部變得特別僵硬；這些聯結的規律性顯示並非病理因素造成，但還需要其他標本參考才能確認。^[1]

分類

一份2010年的研究將扇冠大天鵝龍分類為鴨嘴龍科賴氏龍亞科的冠龍族，是該演化支中最進階的物種之一，並與亞冠龍最近緣。^[19]

古生物學

作為一種鴨嘴龍科，扇冠大天鵝龍是可以二足兼四足行走的植食性動物，透過複雜的頭骨結構來進食植物，能夠作出類似咀嚼的磨削運動，並搭配數百顆不斷汰換的齒系。其高大、寬闊的中空頭冠由頭骨的延伸擴張所構成，其中包含鼻道，可能具有視覺或呼吸發聲的辨識功能。^[21]

扇冠大天鵝龍與其他數種鴨嘴龍科共享棲地，包含另外兩種賴氏龍亞科：類似副櫛龍的卡戎龍及更基礎的阿穆爾龍；烏龜、鱷魚、獸腳類、結節龍科的化石也在當地有發現；^[1]大致同時代的岩層亦發現了櫛龍亞科的克貝洛斯龍^[14]在同時代馬斯垂克階的北美洲岩層，賴氏龍亞科已經相當罕見、甚至絕跡，但亞洲的賴氏龍亞科仍很常見並維持高度多樣性直到中生代結束，這可能代表著氣候或生態環境上的差異。^[1]
