義工活動

義工活動（volunteering），又叫義務工作、志願服務，係自願咁服務社會嘅活動，而參與義工活動嘅人叫「義工」（呢個詞亦可以係義工活動嘅簡稱）。
做呢啲活動係唔計較物質上面嘅回報，做嘅嘢純綷義務。義工活動通常都係透過非牟利機構提供，亦即係正規義工活動。不過亦有唔少人唔係做正規嘅義工活動，而係單打獨鬥，又或者成班人自發去做。唔係正規嘅義工活動，都好難統計到，所以都唔會有乜數字。
義工活動雖然唔多講物質回報，不過做義工活動會帶來一啲非物質回報，呢啲回報令到人有推動力繼續做落去，例如因為見到人得到幫助而快樂等等…
義工，亦指義務嘅工作。不時有人話：「嗰份義工好有意義㗎。」，因此，義工可以理解成義務嘅工作。
