油菜 (植物)

油菜（粵拼：jau4 coi3）係種油料作物，可以用來榨油，榨出嘅油嗌菜籽油。日常開口講嘅「油菜」其實係個通稱，具體落，係有三個種嘅植物，佢哋都屬蕓薹屬（學名：Brassica），個樣都幾似。

油菜嘅樣都好似菜心。而實際上，喺物種分類睇，菜心正正就係蕓薹（Brassica rapa），亦即油菜三個品種中一種。不過細分落去，菜心屬於蕓薹嘅變種蕪菁（Brassica rapa var. rapa）。
油菜開花時，成片田都係金黃色，好得人鍾意，好多攝影發燒友、畫畫人去啲油菜花田度攞景。
