五穀
五穀係縠五種，即係稻（rice）、黍（millet）、稷（pannicled millet）、麥（wheat）、菽（pulse）。五縠視爲穀類總名，但亦有六穀、八穀、九穀以及其他分法。 《論語》微子第十八，第七章一節有寫，「子路從而後、遇丈人、以仗荷蓧。子路問曰、子見夫子乎。丈人曰、四體不勤、五穀不分、孰爲夫子。植其杖而芸。」
