紅蔥頭，草一種，菜一種，又叫乾蔥，亁蔥頭，係蔥科植物，外表同洋蔥有啲似，但比較細粒，亦係種煮食時幾常用嘅香料。食用主要講佢嘅球莖。以前以為另一品種，依家歸佢入洋蔥變種。
英文叫shallot。
