利蘭

利蘭（Leyland Motors Ltd）係英國Leyland一間汽車製造廠。
成立初期至二戰時期
1896年，利蘭前身Lancashire Steam Motor Company成立，初期係出蒸汽機車，其後公司自行研製出汽油引擎，用喺自己出嘅車道。1907年Lancashire Steam Motor Company收購Preston嘅Coulthards公司之後改名為利蘭。
出巴士及貨車係利蘭嘅主要業務，不過利蘭喺1920年代曾經出過私家車。
喺兩次世界大戰期間，利蘭都集中為英國政府生產軍用車。
戰後擴張
1946年，AEC同埋利蘭共同組成British United Traction（BUT），去生產無軌電車同埋鐵路等產品。
1953年，利蘭開始同丹麥嘅DAB公司（Dansk Automobil Byggeri A/S）合作，DAB喺多架自己嘅巴士上用利蘭組件，後來利蘭喺1970年代買入DAB大部分股權並將佢改名為Leyland-DAB。
1954年，利蘭容許印度Ashok Motors喺當地出商用車。1955年7月4號，Ashok Motors改組為Ashok Leyland，利蘭持有部分股權。
除此之外，利蘭喺1950年代到1960年代收購多間車廠：
- 1951年：亞比安
- 1955年：Scammell Lorries Limited
- 1960年：Standard Triumph
- 1962年：Associated Commercial Vehicles（ACV），包含AEC、Thornycroft（當時叫Transport Equipment (Thornycroft) Ltd）、Park Royal Vehicles同埋Charles H. Roe。之後利蘭英文全名改為Leyland Motor Corporation
- 1965年：Bristol Commercial Vehicles同埋Eastern Coach Works（ECW）嘅四分之一股權（用Park Royal Vehicles三成股權交換）
- 1967年：路華汽車
1968年，利蘭同英國汽車控股公司（British Motor Holdings）合併為英國利蘭汽車公司（British Leyland Motor Corporation）。當時英國汽車控股公司擁有佳牌、丹拿、柯士甸、摩利士等商用車牌子，呢次合併亦將佢哋帶入呢個新機構。
英國利蘭時期

1969年，英國利蘭汽車公司同國營嘅National Bus Company成立Leyland National公司，喺Workington出同名巴士，雙方各佔一半股權。同年，英國利蘭汽車公司喺Bristol同埋ECW嘅持股量增至一半，並將Park Royal同埋Roe嘅一半股權賣畀National Bus Company。Bristol、ECW、Park Royal、Roe同埋Leyland National公司被撥入Bus Manufacturers (Holdings) Ltd。
由於英國利蘭汽車公司規模太大難管理，而旗下亦有好多類似產品，構成內部競爭，再加上其他原因，令集團出現財政問題。1974年12月，英國政府向英國利蘭汽車公司注資。
1975年，針對英國利蘭汽車公司問題而寫嘅Ryder Report發表之後，英國利蘭汽車公司被國有化並改叫英國利蘭（英文全名British Leyland Limited），並分成4個部門，利蘭商用車生產部稱為Leyland Truck and Bus（1978年改叫Leyland Vehicles）。英國利蘭喺1979年再改名為BL，同年利蘭新嘅貨車廠Leyland Assembly Plant啟用。
1981年，Leyland Vehicles再分拆為Leyland Bus同埋Leyland Trucks。
1982年底，National Bus Company將持有嘅Bus Manufacturers (Holdings)嘅股權賣埋畀Leyland Bus。
1986年，BL改名為路華集團。
後英國利蘭時期
1986年Leyland Bus宣佈俾管理層收購，股權轉讓喺1987年1月完成，嗰時好多原英國利蘭嘅巴士廠已經執笠或者冇出巴士，只剩返利蘭原本喺Farington間廠同埋Workington廠房。Leyland Bus喺1988年俾富豪車廠收購，1993年中執笠，同年富豪喺蘇格蘭Irvine重開巴士生產線。
1987年，Leyland Trucks同荷蘭DAF合併，公司喺英國稱為Leyland DAF。1993年DAF出現財政問題，英國貨車業務以管理層收購方式分拆成幾間公司：出貨車嘅Leyland Trucks、出客貨車嘅LDV Limited，同埋零件廠Multipart。1998年起Leyland Trucks隸屬美國PACCAR公司。
