乳醛(英語:Lactaldehyde,或稱為2-羥基丙醛2-hydroxypropionaldehyde)是一種羥基醛結構簡式CH3CHOHCHO,是丙酮醛途徑英語Methylglyoxal pathway代謝中間產物甘油脫氫酶(gldA)催化丙酮醛生成D-乳醛,再通過醛脫氫酶英語Aldehyde dehydrogenase氧化成L-乳酸[1]
