邊際

邊際（英語：Margin）在經濟學中指的是每一單位新增商品帶來的效用，這就是生產或消費的邊際。這個增量實際上是原函數的一個導函數。^[1]相關的一個概念是彈性，指的是某一應變量變化百分比與其影響因素變量變化百分比的比值。^{[註 1]}

1. 比如，邊際成本指每一單位新生產商品的成本。通常邊際成本要低於平均成本，因為平均成本包括了固定成本，參見規模經濟。 邊際收益指從每一單位新增商品中得到的新增效用。簡單說邊際效用是消費者從每一單位新增商品或服務中得到的新增的效用（滿意度或者收益）。一般假設邊際效用隨著消費量增加而減少，所以某人某天裡的第10個炸麵包圈得到的滿足要少於第一第二個。
