西拉語

西拉語(也稱西達語^[3])是一種在寮國和越南由約2,000人使用的彝語(Bradley 1997)。西拉族在越南被承認為一個單獨的民族。

分布

據Edmondson(2002)，越南約有700名西拉族人生活在下列3個村莊。

• 萊州省干胡社事蹺齊
• 奠邊省芒㖇縣南聘

據老年西拉人，7個西拉家族在175年前從寮國豐沙里省芒塢和芒葉遷來。他們最初抵達一處叫芒松的地方，到現居地前又經歷了數次搬遷。

• 琅南塔省南塔縣班班西達(自稱：vɛ33 ɲɯ33)
• 約烏縣洲回村；豐沙里省本訥縣豐蔡村(自稱：go55ɯ55 a11ma11)(Kingsada 1999)^[5]
• 約烏縣龍唐村；琅南塔省琅南塔縣西達村(自稱：si33 la33) (Shintani 2001)^[6]
• 約烏縣南星村(自稱：ko55 ɯ21)(Kato 2008)^[7]
