生平
1960年7月進入中國人民解放軍空軍第一航空預備學校，曾在陸軍部有鍛鍊經歷。1964年7月加入中國共產黨，8月升入空軍第二航空學校，畢業後歷任空軍職務，1982年中國子爵號劫機事件中因成功擊斃劫機者，與張景海共同被中央軍委授予「反劫持英雄」稱號，1988年在全軍英模代表大會上被評為空軍優秀飛行人員，1991年獲空軍「功勳飛行人員」金質榮譽獎章。1997年7月晉升為空軍少將。[1][2]
