蒂進

伊薩克·蒂進（荷蘭語：Isaac Titsingh，1745年1月10日—1812年2月2日），又譯為德勝、鐵俊甫，是一名荷蘭外科醫生、學者、商人與大使。在東亞的漫長職業生涯中，蒂進是荷蘭東印度公司（Vereenigde Oostindische Compagnie，簡稱作VOC，含義為「聯合東印度公司」）的一名高級官員。他是歐洲在亞洲貿易公司與江戶幕府日本進行官方接觸的全權代表。他曾兩次前往江戶，以與幕府將軍及其他高級幕府官員溝通。他是荷蘭與荷蘭東印度公司在孟加拉欽蘇拉（Chinsura）的總督。蒂進與他的搭檔查爾斯·康沃利斯相互合作，後者是時任英國東印度公司的總督。1795年，就在乾隆慶祝登基60周年之前，蒂進代表荷蘭及荷蘭東印度公司的利益訪問中國，並受到了乾隆帝的接見；與之相反的是，早先一年訪問中國的英國大使卻遭到了冷遇。在中國，蒂進在擔任荷蘭東印度公司貿易代表的同時，也有效地為自己的國家行使了駐華大使的職責。

日本（1779年－1784年）

蒂進在1779年-80年、81年-83年及84年在日本擔任當時日本唯一允許貿易的荷蘭商館負責人^[1]，，在當時的地位與日本的大名並列，他每年都會前往江戶覲見將軍。在一次機遇下， 蒂進與幕府家臣及 蘭學者在江戶會面以及以覲見幕府將軍德川家治。^[2]

印度（1785年－1792年）

1785年，蒂進被任命為荷蘭東印度公司在孟加拉欽蘇拉的總督。欽蘇拉位於恆河的支流胡格利河畔，加爾各答的上游。

巴達維亞（1792年－1793年）

蒂進回到巴達維亞（如今的印度尼西亞雅加達），起初擔任司庫，後來成為海事官員。

中國（1794年－1795年）

蒂進被任命為駐華荷蘭大使，前往大清帝國的首都北京，以參與乾隆帝的登基六十周年慶典。蒂進代表團的成員包括范罷覽（英語：Andreas Everardus van Braam Houckgeest）與小德金（Chrétien-Louis-Joseph de Guignes），有關此次遣華使團的互補記錄在美國與歐洲均有出版。

隆冬季節，蒂進從廣州艱難地跋涉到了北京，這讓他窺視到了此前從未對歐洲人開放的中國內地一隅，他的使團在新年慶典之時及時趕到了北京。按照中國的標準，蒂進與他的代表團在紫禁城和圓明園受到了罕見的尊重和禮遇。不同於上一年喬治·馬戛爾尼率領英國使團所遭受到的失敗，蒂進為符合複雜的皇宮禮節而作出了相當的努力——包括向皇帝磕頭。蒂進的使團，是19世紀鴉片戰爭爆發前，出現在中國皇宮的最後一支歐洲使團。
