功能

組織蛋白酶O是半胱胺酸組織蛋白酶、半胱胺酸蛋白酶和組織蛋白酶家族的成員。這種蛋白酶解酶參與細胞蛋白質降解和周轉。該酶的重組形式可降解通常用作半胱胺酸蛋白酶受質的合成肽，並且其蛋白酶解活性被半胱胺酸蛋白酶抑制劑消除。^[6]
