第11屆中國金鷹電視藝術節暨第28屆中國電視金鷹獎頒獎晚會於2016年10月16日在湖南國際會展中心舉行，由何炅、寧靜主持。

本屆金鷹獎評選活動自2016年5月26日啟動，與上屆最大的不同是本屆取消了所有非電視劇類別的評選，只保留最佳電視劇、優秀電視劇、觀眾喜愛的男演員、觀眾喜愛的女演員、最佳編劇、最佳導演、最佳攝像、最佳美術、最佳照明9個子項20個獎項[1]。
以「您的生活已上線」為主題的頒獎晚會《中國金鷹電視藝術節互聯盛典》於2016年10月15日舉行，由何炅、沈夢辰、杜海濤主持。
