直接句，是引語的一種，用於直接地引述人或機構說的話。在中文中，常用引號將直接引語括起[1]。
使用直接引語引述時，應將原說話者的發言毫無改變地引述。如：
- 甲說：「我對語言學很感興趣。」（甲對語言學感興趣）
- 甲說：「他／她對語言學很感興趣。」（另一個人對語言學感興趣）
