生平
畢業於英國薩塞克斯大學，研究生學歷，文學碩士學位。1985年8月，進入中共中央對外聯絡部工作，歷任一局三秘、副處長、處長、局長助理、副局長。2009年，任黨群外事協調局局長。2010年，任七局局長。同年，改任一局局長。2013年，任研究室主任（正局級）。2014年11月，沈蓓莉出任駐英國大使館公使。2016年11月，沈蓓莉重返中聯部，任中聯部辦公廳主任（正局級）。2017年2月，任中聯部部長助理兼辦公廳主任[1]。2018年9月，出任外交部駐澳門特別行政區特派員公署特派員[2][3]。2020年7月，任中共中央對外聯絡部副部長[4]。2022年12月，調任中國宋慶齡基金會黨組書記[5]。
家庭
育有一子。
