新州石塔原名大聖菩薩寶塔，位於安徽歙縣徽城鎮北郊1公里新州，歙縣二中內。石塔原高七層，現存三層，高4.6米。此塔於南宋建炎三年（1129年），由歙縣平遼鄉樂平里永平社的村民為祈求子嗣而捐資修建[1]。明宣德進士葉蓁自遷居新州後，就保護這一古蹟，嘉靖二十三年，其孫葉泰重修此塔[2]，均留有銘記。
