大衛·J·彼得森

大衛·J·彼得森（英語：David Joshua Peterson，1981年1月20日—）是一名美國語言創造者、作家和藝術家。

生平

從1999年至2003年就讀於加州大學柏克萊分校，獲得英語和語言學學士學位。^[2] 亦獲得加利福尼亞大學聖地牙哥分校（2003年-06年）語言學碩士學位。^[2]

自2000年以來、彼得森所創建最出名的語言是為HBO《權力的遊戲》（2009年）影集系列創建多斯拉其語和瓦雷利亞語言，及為Syfy頻道《地球異世界》（2011年以來）劇集創建卡蒂森語（Castithan）、艾洛森語（Irathient）。^[2][4] 他還為電影《雷神索爾2：黑暗世界》裡的黑暗精靈創建語言。^[5] 於2007年，他與與其他九個語言創建者協同創辦了語言創建協會，^[2]並擔任其主席（2012年—2014年）。^[6]

彼得森為《地球異世界》劇集創建兩個較全和兩個較小型的語言時，他亦為這些語言開發了一個數詞系統。^[7]
