周邊神經病變（peripheral neuropathy，PN）又稱周圍神經病[1]，簡稱神經病[2]或神經病變[3]，由周圍神經（運動、感覺、自主神經）的結構改變、損傷、病變、功能障礙而引起的一類疾病。常見病因包括先天性病因、自身免疫性病因、感染性病因、外傷與局部壓迫等。

神經病是神經系統的疾病或異常狀態下的神經系統之義。雖然在大眾文化中，漢語「神經病」常用作精神病的詈語，但神經病實際上是指包括而不限於器質性精神疾病的一系列神經系統疾病。精神病與神經病最大區別是認知能力不協調，導致發生知覺失調、思想前後矛盾[4]。
症狀
一般而言，痠、痛、乏的症狀與肌肉、軟組織損傷較有關，而麻、抽、脹的感受則多和神經病變較相關；神經痛及神經性疼痛則為例外情形。
