吉安路，元元貞元年（1295年）改吉州路置，治廬陵縣（今江西吉安市）。轄境相當今江西省吉水、萬安兩縣間贛江流域及安福、永新等縣地。屬江西等處行中書省。至正二十二年（1362年）朱元璋改為吉安府。
元置吉安路，取吉州和安福州首字為名，並賦「吉泰平安」之意。
