生平
1981年，進入中華人民共和國外交部工作，先後在駐伊朗大使館、外交部西亞北非司任職。1998年，任駐伊朗大使館參贊。2001年，任外交部西亞北非司參贊。2002年，赴美國喬治敦大學外交研究所做訪問學者。2003年4月，出任中華人民共和國駐伊斯坦堡總領事。2006年，回任外交部西亞北非司參贊。2007年，升任外交部西亞北非司副司長。2008年10月，出任中華人民共和國駐約旦大使。[1]2010年12月，出任中華人民共和國駐伊朗大使。[2]2014年7月，出任中華人民共和國駐土耳其大使。[3]2018年12月，自駐土耳其大使離任。出任中國駐伊朗大使、駐土耳其大使期間，郁紅陽兩次協調解決人質劫持事件。[4]
