生平
1977年1月參加工作，1979年10月加入中國共產黨。1981年部隊轉業至北京市公安局海淀分局工作10年，1991年調入國安系統工作，先後任國家安全部維護社會政治穩定辦公室主任，17局副局長、局長，新疆維吾爾自治區國家安全廳黨委書記、廳長。
2015年5月，任四川省人民政府副省長、四川省公安廳黨委書記、廳長，省委政法委副書記。2017年3月，任中共四川省委常委、副省長，省公安廳黨委書記、廳長，省委政法委副書記[1]。2017年4月，兼任中共四川省委政法委書記[2]，同年6月辭去四川省副省長職務。2022年1月，當選為四川省人大常委會副主任[3]。2022年5月卸任四川省委常委職務，同年7月卸任省委政法委書記職務[4][5]。
