生平
1968年，畢業於北京大學力學專業，後供職於蘭州煉油廠中學、蘭州鐵道學院，後任甘肅省教委副主任。1998年，升任甘肅省人民政府副省長[1]。2002年12月19日，民主同盟舉行九屆一中全會，他當選為民盟中央主席[2]。2007年12月，在民盟十屆一中全會上，他出任民盟中央副主席的職務[3][4][5]。2009年8月，中華職業教育社第十次全國代表大會召開，他出任中華職業教育社第十屆理事會副理事長[6][7]。
