生平
李氏剛剛入宮，為典字，轉任為通義郡夫人，最後晉升為婕妤。淳熙十年（1183年）李婕妤卒，追贈賢妃。當時李燾在經筵，曾諫言皇帝省後宮費。宋孝宗說：「朕老了，哪有這樣？近日安葬李妃只用了三萬緡錢。」宋孝宗雖在位久，但是沒有著名的後宮寵幸。
