生平
南漢後主劉鋹有四個兒子，劉守正為第二子。生母不詳。史書沒有記載劉守正在南漢的封爵，大寶十四年（971年），南漢滅亡，劉守節和劉鋹一起投降宋朝。劉守節在宋朝被封為崇儀副使。宋太宗聽說他家貧，下詔每月給萬錢。
兒子
劉守正死後，其子劉克昌為三班奉職、劉國昌為借職。
