當代藝術（英語：Contemporary art）的作品是在當今出現的藝術作品，由後現代藝術（英语：postmodern art）發展而來也接續在現代藝術之後。在白話英語中，「現代」（Modern）和「當代」（Contemporary）是近義字，這導致許多非專業人士誤將現代藝術和當代藝術這兩個詞彙歸併在一起。
