IC 2574

IC 2574，也被称为“柯丁顿星云”（Coddington Nebula），是一个大熊座矮螺旋星系，由美国天文学家埃德温·福斯特·柯丁顿于1898年发现^[8][9]，是M81星系团的外围成员。天文学家认为该星系质量的90%以暗物质的形式存在^[10]，目前未发现IC 2574与其他星系相互作用的证据。 IC 2574目前正在形成恒星，紫外线分析显示恒星形成的区域大小为85至500光年^[11]。
