Gens一套针对电视游戏机－世嘉Mega Drive（MD）而发展的家用机模拟器软件，其功能是让使用者配合游戏资料档（Rom）在个人电脑上亦能执行到Mega Drive的游戏，目前已有很高的开发完成度，支援大部分Mega Drive游戏。2006年后Gens虽不断更新，不过仅支持32位的Linux和BSD。
Gens32则是Gens的延伸版本，是以Gens作者开放的Gens源代码为基础的模拟器。Gens32支援了32位元色彩模式、7z格式及LDU系统。Gens32作者为来自中国大陆的Dark Dancer，使得Gens32成为目前唯一致力提升中文游戏模拟度的模拟器。
