非洲多棘鲈（学名：Polycentropsis abbreviata），又称西非叶鲈，为辐鳍鱼纲鲈形目鲈亚目南鲈科的其中一种，分布于非洲贝南、尼日利亚十字河、尼日河三角洲、喀麦隆、加蓬淡水流域，颊部有6-7列鳞片，侧线不完整，尾柄短，尾鳍截短，体色为褐色，头部及体侧具有不规则的深色斑纹，有时会形成大理石纹，鱼鳍透明，背鳍硬棘15-17枚；背鳍软条9-11枚；臀鳍硬棘9-12枚；臀鳍软条8-9枚，体长可达6.4公分，栖息在热带雨林的溪流底中层，生活习性不明，可做为观赏鱼，极具经济价值。[1]
