王冷然（—724年），字仲清，太原人。
出身清寒。[1]开元五年(717年)进士及第，当时未授官职，开元九年又登拔萃科，授将仕郎，守太子校书郎。王冷然自以为大材小用，曾上书当时宰相张说，[2]写至愤恨处，竟称“百姓饿欲死，公何不举贤自代，让位请归？”[3]但没受到重视。后移右威卫兵曹参军。开元十二年十二月卒于任上。[4]
