2012年11月21日，中国“迪车会”网上讨论区在网络上流传了一张金色车身、右軚的比亚迪K10巴士照片。该车传闻为九巴订购的双层电动巴士样办车，并有传于2012年12月至2013年1月到港试验，但最终从未抵港。之后有网民指出九巴已放弃该订单。[1]
