据报安德烈17岁于麦当劳工作时被星探发掘，亦有说她在墨尔本中学的游泳池被发现。星探被她的性别气质模糊所吸引，认定她能够穿着男性及女性的衣服。2011年9月，安德烈于世上最佳男模50强中排行18[2]，同时她亦获FHM杂志评为世上100位最性感女士中排行第98位[3] 。
变性
2014年7月25日，安德烈宣布自己已经完成变性，并改名为Andreja，表示自己以后只走女装秀。[4]
