东亚腹链蛇属（学名：Hebius）有鳞目水游蛇科的一属，目前确认有48种。[1]本属大部分物种原属于腹链蛇属（Amphiesma），2014年研究人员对腹链蛇属的种上分类进行了讨论。通过运用线粒体基因和多个核基因建立系统进化关系，研究结果显示原旧腹链蛇属并非单系类群，其包括了至少3个单系属，即腹链蛇属（Amphiesma），东亚腹链蛇属（Hebius）和喜山腹链蛇属（Herpetoreas）。[2]

属名Hebius源自日语单词“蛇”（Hebi）。
东亚腹链蛇属于一类半水栖类蛇，背鳞起棱，半阴茎及精沟不分叉；上颌齿呈连续的一列，向后逐渐增大或最后两枚突然扩大；鼻间鳞前缘宽大，鼻孔侧位；背鳞有或无端窝；背外侧通常具有一系列黑色斑点，组成两条纵向条纹。[2]
