XCB（X C Binding）是一套以 C语言撰写，并用于绑定（Binding） X Window System之上。XCB是一套免费的软件，目标在于取代 Xlib。这个计划开始于2001年，作者是Bart Massey.

XCB 主要目标是:
- 减轻函数库的大小与复杂度;
