错体硬币（英文：Error coin）是指硬币在铸造过程中的失误而导致的情况，错体硬币大多在出厂前检查到而会被熔掉，但亦有机会流出市面，不过机会很微。
常见的错体硬币

- 错用物料
- 缺角
- 浅打（图案不清楚）
- 重打（压印超过一次）
- 文字或者图案若隐若现
- 图案或文字错误
- 硬币正背面的图案角度不一致
角度不一致的谬误
在早期时代，某些硬币的正背面会因为压模有不同角度而导致角度不一致，此情况下，硬币不能被归类为错体硬币。
