第16步兵师（德语：16. Infanterie-Division）是威玛共和国防卫军陆军、纳粹德国国防军陆军的一个步兵师。该师于1934年10月组建[1]。
第二次世界大战期间，该师参与入侵法国行动。此后该师一部组建第16装甲师，一部予以摩托化，改编为第16摩托化步兵师（德语：16. Infanterie-Division (mot.)），并参与巴巴罗萨行动。
该师一直在东线作战，直至1943年6月改编为第16装甲掷弹兵师（德语：16. Panzergrenadier-Division），并调回法国国内。
该师最后在1944年3月改编为第116装甲师。
